On Mouton’s Valley Farm in the Western Cape, South Africa we have been growing the finest quality agathosma betulina (Buchu) for a hundred years.

As primary producers we shorten the supply chain without compromising quality.

We steam distil, producing and supplying our own oil to the global flavour and fragrance industry. We also supply Buchu water (hydrosol) and dried Buchu leaves (for tea and nutraceuticals).

Buchu is indigenous to the Cape and is found in abundance in the wild on our farm. Harvesting, however, is done from our 60 hectares of cultivated fields.
